About

"I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free." - Michelangelo

Born in Chicago, I took on a fascination with art and the marvels of the world from a young age, having been distracted in class doodling, and digging holes for fossils and treasure. It was little wonder I decided to make a career out of it, and pursued art history, anthropology, and the fine arts at Gettysburg College and the University of Glasgow.I've been an avid equestrian over the years as well, competing in the hunter/jumper world and trying other disciplines. I still have my childhood horse I grew up with, Gatsby, and my new guy, Grogu. My love of horses manifests in my professional career, and I have worked primarily as an equine artist, equine historian, and consultant for horses in media. At present, I work as the Curator of Exhibits at the International Museum of the Horse at the Kentucky Horse Park, and continue to write, make art, and offer my knowledge and services outside of that.
